Men's Retreat

What a great change of pace for me! The church we've been involved in during past years invited me to a men's retreat. I led the music and shared about faithfulness in marriage. But the whole weekend was an adventure! The rain on Saturday caused landslides that prevented us from reaching our destination in Mera. We made it to Baños, and found a line of unmoving traffic. God reminded me of a retreat center in Baños. I investigated and they had room for us for that night. So half our retreat we celebrated in Baños, and the next day the road was cleared to make it to our planned retreat center in Mera. It felt good to be with other men and share together conferences, meals, jokes, and sports. They have a great ministry!
